Thumbnail Images Are Not Viewable for My Cloud OS 5 or My Cloud Home

Description

Thumbnails do not appear after upload, import of large amounts of files or after a firmware update.
They will appear after all files are processed.

Resolution

• Supported file types will have thumbnails created.
• iOS HEIC files are limited to images added from the mobile phone.
  This can be done using auto backup or manual upload.
• Android HEIC files are not supported.
• A JPEG will be created from the HEIC file using open in.
• 4K content will not have a thumbnail created from a video.
• Missing thumbnails can appear by importing the files again.
