There is a label, print, etching on internal SSD, external SSD, and USB Flash drives.
Memory cards will only have the model number on the packaging.

  • Serial Numbers are unique.
    Internal SSD, External SSD, Extreme PRO CompactFlash, and CFast Cards have serial numbers

  • Date Codes are not unique. The same date code can be on many different products.
    USB Flash Drives, Memory Sticks, MP3 Players, SD and microSD cards have date codes.
