1. Connect the external drive to the computer using the instructions below.
Do Not use a USB Hub.

Instructions
- Connect one end of the USB cable to the external drive and the other end directly to the USB port on the computer.

External Desktop Drive
(powered)

Instructions
- Connect the power and USB cable to the external drive.
- Plug the power adapter of the drive into a wall socket. Do not use a power strip.
- Connect the other end of the USB cable directly to the USB port of the computer.
