Record ProRes video on a supported drives with an iPhone 16, 15 Pro and Pro Max.

• Password-protected drives are not supported.
• The drive format must be exFAT.
• Phone connection adapters are not supported.

1. Download and install the app.
   
   

   SanDisk Memory Zone for iOS
   
   Third-Party Notices: iOS



2. Connect the drive.


3. Open the app.


4. Tap the Drive.
   
   


5. Tap the 3-dot menu.
   
   



6. Tap Record to Device.
   
   


7. Turn on ProRes video.
   
   
   • Tap Settings.
     
   • Tap Camera.
     
   • Tap Formats.
     
   • Tap turn on Apple ProRes.

8. Tap Record to Device.
   
   
   


9. Tap Confirm.
   
   

   



IMPORTANT:

The drive will disconnect from the app when it goes into USB On-The-Go (OTG) mode.

10. Start recording.
    
    
    1. Open the Camera App.
       
    2. Select Video mode.
       
    3. Turn On ProRes. (default=off).
       
    4. Tap Record.

11. Open the Files or Camera app to see recordings.
